From last nights 4-3 win against the Canucks.

What lens did you use to shoot those with? Very sharp! Good job!

Wow, that's what I call luck. Good thing you can produce good results, they'll want to give you a hole again next time :)

That's what I am hoping for. Usually there are around 7 photog's at most so with a spot between the benchs we all usually get a hole no problem. Not sure why so many came out of the wood work last night.

Nice captures! There was some unbelievable goaltending in that game and you certainly nailed a few moments by the looks of these.

You should put a posting with a link to your pics on the Canucks.com messageboards. I went to a game a few months back and got some good pictures, posted the link and in 3hrs I got over a 1,000 hits to my blog. Canucks fans LOVE to see their guys in action.

I will have to check that site out. Thanks for the heads up!

Alright guys...long time lurker here. I've read 588 of 598 pages of this thread over the past several months and it's time I come out of the closet. Well, not come out of the closet like THAT, not that there's anything wrong with that (for you seinfeld fans). Anyway, my first post is going to be a picture of my nephew which will be open for critique and I'm also making a request. I'd really like to use this photo as a Christmas present for my sister but that darn yellow/red piece of playground equipment is really distracting. I'm looking for advice on whether it's photoshop-able and if so...I'm looking for someone to help as I don't have photoshop. I'd be willing to pay for ones services if it's doable.

Wanted some feedback on the processing...especially the white balance as I've stared at it so long I can no longer determine what looks right. I tried to increase the saturation a bit as it will be for print.

This is one of my first posts on the forum, and my first time posting a picture. Let's see if I can do this right...

Yeah sorry, the funny thing is you posted right before me so it wasn't even necessary.

I didn't realize my ISO was so high on tihs until later so it' spretty noisy. This is a pic of my case with 90degree rotation motherboard.

I don't think I'll ever go back to traditional layout.

No-Limit --> That shot looks awesome. Focus is crispy and the white balance/saturation looks good. I see what you are saying about the playground equipment in the background. To me it was not a deal breaker, but certainly took it from an A to an A-. Still would make a fantastic gift. I am no where near good enough to tackle the photochop work to get that red/yellowout of the bokeh, but maybe someone else here is. RIVEST......

Welcome to the club. the 500+ pages is worth the read

Strapped or strapless???????

I despise having the neck strap on my camera, but at the same time I do not have the cahones to take it off. I just know the second I take it off it will fall out of my hands and I will be wishing I had something to grab it as it was falling. Most of the time I keep my camera in my backpack while hiking/walking around and then grab it for a shot.

Do you guys go strapless???

I never use a camera strap. Just hold it in my hand and that's with about 12-14 pounds or whatever it is.
