Just finished reading this thread from start to finish, took about a week! I've been a 60D owner for about two weeks now, been using an XS for the past few years. Just thought I'd say merry Christmas and post a pic. I know it's not perfect but the kitty decided to check out my appletini as I was setting up my shot so I quickly snapped the pic. Some amazing photos here! Can't wait to become a part of the community.

It's actually a pretty common phenomena caused by high clouds. I used to be a meteorologist. I farm with my Dad though and I've seen hundreds of these things because I'm always outside. lol

Looks pretty good! The only thing I will say is OCZ SSD's have quality control issues, and I have had 2 DOA OCZ psu's. Other than that great choice of parts!

That is an awesome image! Very sharp from that Tamron. I would pick one up if I didn't need a fast focus for sports!

I find the focus speed to be more than adequate for sports, the AF motor sounds slower than it is, if that makes any sense.
