I think I have the same mug, I have the 70-200 and the 24-70 from Photojojo. I use the 70-200 at work, and I have the other at home. I also bought the fake Canon DSLR camera bank for a fun photo prop. :)

Merry Christmas everyone!!

Paul,
How do you like the grip? I just picked one up last week, still making up mind. It definitely feels more comfortable, but still not 100%. THen again, I am not sure what I was expecting, so I plan to use it for a while. The appeal of two batteries coupled with the more convenient portrait capability is very appealing.

Kind regards,
Dimitri

If you look in the back pages of the MacWorld magazine, there is a company that makes aluminium stands for macbooks/pros. They are designed to use an external keyboard, so you can put the macbrook pro on the stand, and the keyboard will slip underneath the stand when not in use. You can also use it with an imac.

The name escapes me, but if it sounds interesting, I can look the company in an older copy.

Kind regards,
Dimitri

Oh, excuse my french, I meant a laptop stand. Working a lot straight on the table makes my back hurt. I need the screen higher :p !

Santa was good to me this year! Got a new tripod, yongnuo YN-603 wireless flash radios, a quick strap for sports shooting, an extra memory card, and a remote shutter release.

And best of all, my amazing girlfriend got me Lightroom 3!!

This is why a christmas gift when you are 19 is still a good idea. Good news though, I still have some items I want and my birthday is in 18 days!

I can't wait to start looking into using LR3 and learning all I can about it. Have a feeling it's gonna be a lot easier to edit from now on!

That looks great! Looks like what I'm looking for.

Any other suggestion? I'm from up north, needs to be available in Canada :)

I'm not sure if there are any other ones I would personally recommend. I like this one because it has the hole in the back for wires and you can kind of store things under your computer.

Lightroom 3 is probably my favorite. I use it for everything and then I pass it through to CS5 and export.

Let me go take a picture of what Santa got me this Christmas :D
