Here's my take.

#1: I'd get rid of the purple fringing. Don't see any faces but I suppose the folks involved will know who they are.
#2: Not really sure what this is without a frame of reference.
#3: Good standard tux shot.
#4: Good shot. I would crop in tighter. Even an half torso shot would have been good and possibly more dramatic.
#5: Not feeling it.
#6: Nice capture.
#7: Nice capture. However, other than her being on the ground, I am not sure what's going on again, without a frame of reference.
#8: Good capture with the exception of them being too centered and that huge light on the left.

Nic,

Thanks for your opinion. I appreciate it. #2 is the hair stylist "threading" the brides hair up with a twine type of string. Something I hadn't seen before.

#7, standard portrait, but focused on the light.

I think 8 would be a great image if you burned the big orange light out, and gave it a better crop. Definitely port worthy after that imo.
