Some of the riders in this downtown street race bounced off the pavement.

Excellent series. As a viewer, the shot selection really pulls you in. The crash shots along with your excellent panning skills gave a perfect 'on the edge of disaster' perspective to the racers. Especially the outside rider in the blue shirt, blue helmet and blue bike who has that 'oh sh*t!' look on his face!

Nice captures. I was researching the Mass Ave Crit for my blog and it looks like a great event.

Thanks! This event was a useful test of a Tamron 70-300mm vibration control lens' ability to capture action. The lens worked well.
