Strombidium viride

The ID is a little iffy on this one. If it is a Strombidium, it's very large, but looks like one. It could be a very distended Euplotes though, although I have never seen one in a round ball shape before.

Thanks Kurt, Anthony and Brian. I found these in a sample of water from a small petri dish I have some regular moss in. I keep the moss wetter than if it was still outside, to see what grows in it. This gives the microbes an environment that allows them to grow unimpeded. Their usual environment is wet, dry, wet, dry, depending on the whether here. So normally, they only grow a few days, then they either die out or form a cyst to survive until the next wet spell. Some can even make it through on the humidity in the air, cause moss never completely dries out, it only grows in shaded damp areas anyway. I have added a link above to some video of these guys.

In this sample, I also found some geriatric rotifers that were nearing the end of their natural life span, which is only 15 days. It offers a good chance to get stills and video of them while they are not moving around at high speed.

Thanks Rakesh, that is a Lepadella patella rotifer. The size difference is what makes me question my ID. While the big round thing looks like a Strombidium, they are usually smaller than a rotifer.
