Where are you? What currency? I'm at the gambling end of the market regarding actuations. If 'twere sterling, I'd take a punt; could fail tomorrow or soldier on past the MkVI !

Seems a bit pricey if it's sterling. Mine cost me £450 back in March this year. In very good nick (just wear on the hotshoe & around the shutter release) with about 67k actuations.

Great body though, I love it!

Pounds Sterling - (UK)

It helps a lot to put your location in your profile (or even in the post asking for the info) to save about a dozen post asking you where you live ;-)a

well, you said the auction ended but for future info ~700 aint a 'bad' price for a 1D2... although I sold mine locally just a month or so ago and the guy had to literally pry the damn thing out of my hands while I wept... and i got $750 for mine with 115K on the clock.

Chunky pixels are really fun.

Canon will service 1 series for longer time than fancy xxD or xD series.

Last time I checked they were going for $700+ range so $600 is real good IMHO.
