Yeah, they were meandering around and seemed to know how not to get in the perfect position for me. Just gives me another excuse to go back and try to get another try.

Beautiful shots. Will be in Denali next week and would love to see these birds at last. Unfortunately the weather isn't looking too good from what we've heard.


My Gear: 6D, 7D, EOS-M w EF-M 22 f2 STM and EF-M 18-55 f3.5-5.6 IS STM, 17-40L f4, 24-70L f2.8, 100 f2.8 non-IS macro, 70-200L f/4 IS, 400L f5.6,, Canon 1.4x II TC, Canon Speedlite 430 EX II, Better Beamer. Very nice photos, but the 3rd is special. Great light, great composition. Make me want to get back up to Canada for some fishing - and photography. Thanks for posting these.

Thanks for all the comments. #3 is definetely one of my all time favorite shots I've taken. Being at the right place at the right time is the biggest part of it. That area is so incredible, it's all about not messing up a shot (which I did quite a lot)
