Yeah i thought i would try a little bit of everything since Im am still new at it.
Still learning :)
I did another close up with a more stylized pp.

Also, used my new Wacom for this too. Picked up an intuos4 small today, LOVE it.

QUOTED IMAGE

This is a really nice edit compared to the original. What did you use to sharpen the eyes or is that just the shot (i've been messing with different PS techs for sharpening and am just curious)?

Still, #5 was my favorite of the series, although busy I am still drawn to the subject and the light is nice all around.

the first one blew me away, then the rest bored me.

Lol, stayhumble. yeah i love sun flare pics! Thanks!

For cpttripps, I use lightroom3 and the brush tool with my wacom, ill post up a b4 and after here soon so u can see difference the PP. The shot originally had good sharpness, i was surprised, was shot with my kit lens on my t3i.

So here it is, side by side.

I started using LR a month ago and since then haven't hardly touched PS. The workflow and speed is nice, and other then big or complex cloning items i haven't needed to use ps.

I brought up the clarity, exposure, saturation and added a blue tint to the eyes.
softened the skin, and cloned out the skin. also added a bit of color to the lips.
Then added the over all look of the pic.

I also brought out the reflection in the eye.
