When To Crop

When shooting in RAW, is it better to do your sharpening, color, contrast, etc first, then convert to JPEG, and then crop. Or should the cropping be done in RAW, then edit, then convert. Are there any drawbacks, is there a preferred procedure?

If all the editing needed, other than cropping, has been done in the RAW converter, cropping might as well be done there also. But if further editing is to be done to the RGB image, some operations - like cloning - can be done better before cropping. OTOH, automatic functions like Auto Levels are better after cropping.
