Bruce,

You miss me -- that's great. I used to post here all the time, but I got too busy. Whenever I get a good aerial photo I post it over at my blog. You can see all my aviation posts by clicking the flying the line link (external link) at the top of my blog.

Maybe someday I will put all my tutorials out in ebook format. I still have a ways to go. I do most of the work during down time which seems pretty infrequent these days. For now, I am concentrating on finding a way to clearly explain photoshop curves. That's the next subject in my series.

Dave

Very well done. It takes skill to explain complex things in a simple, understandable way. Sadly many authors don't have this skill, but you do. Great tutorial. I hope you keep these up!

In older versions of Photoshop there is no "photography" option. I can't remember exactly what you need to select. I think it might be "default" or "default view" or "original view". It's something like that. As long as you can see the layers pallet in the lower right of your Photoshop display you'll be able to complete the rest of the tutorial.

I just wanted to let you all know that my blog has moved. It's now located at photos4u2c.net (external link)

The tutorials are all still there.

Here's a new link to my "How It's Done" series of photography and photoshop lessons (external link)

RbnDave, thanks for the tutorials - they have helped to clarify something I have struggled with for a while.

Cheers,

WesternGuy
