The IS sometimes doesn't want to engage and repeatedly tries to engage if I shoot sideways with the vertical grip. Confirmed on both Rebel XTi and 5Dc. Rarely does it level but I have noticed it when turned sideways. never dropped but thoroughly used.
Is this a job for Canon repair services? Date code is UV but I have a blank warranty card.
Between this, my 70-200 f4L IS having a busted IS (UU and also blank card), lens cleaning and my 5D mirror fix, this is going to be an expensive package to send off to Canon.
