Anyone who says that a camera is not sharp is clueless. An AF system might be poor or faulty, but a camera itself has little to do with sharpness. Once the shutter is open on a DSLR, it's just the light from the lens falling directly on the sensor that makes the image. Either the lens is sharp or it's not. Either it's well focused or it's not. The camera can only affect the focus. Mine seems to work. Ed Rotberg
