Cute.... love the baby's facial expression.

The composition, the facial expression are both pretty good!

Thanks Symes! I am almost done building my studio in my basement - just have to get some more props, but I think that will be ongoing.

Anyway, shot with my 10D, 16-35 f/2.8L, (this photo is a crop. the full image shows her hand and feet) 4 Alian Bee 800's - one for main with a med. softbox, one for fill with med. softbox, one with a 30 degree grid for hair, and one with a small halfdome on the background. It is a white paper backdrop, and because it is pulled out on a carpeted floor I have a 4' x 8' piece of clear plexiglass that they are sitting on. The plexiglass also gives a slight reflection, which is ok.

Thanks for the comments everyone. I am my own worst critic, and everytime I look at my photos I see something I should have done differently, so sometimes I think they all suck! But, I guess that is what keeps me learning.

Cutting off the toes is one reason I did the crop -- They are my nieces children - 5 years & 6 months old. Oh, BTW, they call Graham Bubba! :)

Excellent work! Takes a lot of patience to do a photoshooting with kids!

Nice work to be able to achieve that kind of composition!
