I don't often shoot this kind of thing so I thought I'd post to show people. The more I shoot plants/flowers the more I begin to enjoy it!

This kind of photo leans toward lack of contrast because of similar color tones. A good b+w image needs a wide range of contrast and these leaves were probably green which is why this image is on the dark side without highlights of note.

I'd like to see the top right as dark as the lower left. It'll make that top leaf pop a bit more. I'm immediately drawn to the lower leaf due to the stronger contrast. Maybe a slight brightening of the top leaf? I'm also on my laptop which is old and uncalibrated.
