I like a couple normal primes and a fast telephoto zoom like the 70-200/2.8

You certainly don't need a zoom lens though, just plan ahead and take two bodies in case something unexpected happens. since you have a 7D and a 550D, I'd use a 30mm and an 85mm prime, with the 85mm on the 7D.

Nikon D7000, Nikon D3100 18-105mm VR, 35mm f/1.8, 50mm f/1.4, 70-300mm VR

I was thinking the same things, but i don't know if 85mm are enough in a wedding shots...

I have covered weddings for many years, using three different format cameras to do so over the years. On 645 format, my 45-90mm lens was one which was a 90% lens...I would need a wider or longer lens only on about 10% of the shots taken. That range of FL on 645 ends up having a AOV along the short dimension of the frame of 28-53 degrees. I would change to 150mm lens for couples portraiture shot during the wedding day...AOV of 17 degrees. That is equivalent to 15-30mm on APS-C, and changing to 50mm for couples portraiture. In using APS-C during weddings, I have found that the 17-55mm is a 95% lens.

Do you plan on shooting more weddings in the future? If not, stick with what you have.

If you want to do many more weddings, I would recommend the 17-55 or equivalent, depending on what you want to spend.

I wish I had my 17-55 for the 2 weddings I did. I bought it afterwards. If I were shooting a wedding, I would definitely want the 17-55 f2.8.

I would also rent a 70-200 f2.8 for the event.
