Wednesday, & the blur shots have started! I think it shows the "Flavor of the Cruise" & past weekend nights spent on Woodward Ave. Given that speeds range from stop & go to 50mph, what I get is partly a matter of luck & I can't be sure until I see them on the big screen. Still, it's a challenge & if I get a couple keepers, then I'm happy.

1. There were tons of great cars out, but I had one of these so I'm leading off with it. (And, no, mine only had the 383 cid motor in it. )

2. I feel blessed! Another shot with five Classics in it & NO minivans!

3. This is my favorite shot of the evening.

4. Another nice one, & the true "Spirit of Woodward". Pulling a jump on the '57 Chevy probably would have made his night! LOL!

5. There were plenty of trucks there, too!

IMAGE: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v218/PhotosGuy/Dream%20Cruise%202011/DreamCruise_Wednesday_8-17-11_3387.jpg

6. An "almost shot". Sometimes 1/20 sec. doesn't quite work out. If the grill had been just a little bit sharper...

IMAGE: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v218/PhotosGuy/Dream%20Cruise%202011/DreamCruise_Wednesday_8-17-11_3351.jpg

7. And sometimes 1/15 sec. does.

IMAGE: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v218/PhotosGuy/Dream%20Cruise%202011/DreamCruise_Wednesday_8-17-11_3410.jpg

8. Nothing special about this shot, but this guy was just a classy ride, & the dots in the headlights gave it a happy face.

Thanks for the coverage. I've forwarded both threads to one of my customers to get him primed & ready. He & his wife are heading down to the Dream Cruise plus the NASCAR race. They should come back filled with memories.

I hope they have a good time! Saturday will be absolute gridlock, so if he can be there on Friday, I'd highly recommend it. Even then it won't be a picnic to get around unless they take the back streets. (where there won't be any parking.)

Last year I passed three free buses when I walked from 11 Mile to 13 Mile. And I wasn't walking all that fast! ;) You can park & ride free Saturday at Consumers on Coolidge just S. of 14 Mile Rd. The bus will take them to 13 & Woodward.

Thanks, Andrew. You're just a few feet from the curb & hearing them is a lot of the fun.

So far I've seen kids, dogs, & cameras hanging out the windows. Given that this is Detroit, I don't expect that anyone will try it with a Thompson submachine gun? :D

Thanks for the comment, though!
