This 'how to guide' is an explaination of the light painting process for car photography and is actually about 3 years old but it's been off line for quite a while. There's another thread on this forum where I originally posted it but the links are outdated so hence this new thread.

I've recently updated it and re hosted it so I thought I'd post the link and a few pics.

I like that you included:

The light painting in this image is very subtle and was used to supplement the ambient light rather than to dominate it. The light painting brought out details, such as in the wheels, which where not otherwise visible. A strobe was also used to light the radiator.
