Taken back in 2004 with the Canon D60 (don't confuse with 60D) and the 17-40 F4. Back then...things were simpler..no discussion about High ISO, noise etc etc...it was just simple...click...capture...

This was the 3rd storm of the day for us, the rest of the group had packed up and left to go hunt for dinner in Jackson. I stayed behind with the hope that the sun will break through and light up the clouds for sunset, that never happened, however, i saw this scene way out in the distance. With the tripod on the shoulder i ran towards this area to catch 1 last shot of the day before the light was gone. I'm glad I did...i have this one printed 20x30 on Luster paper...one of my all time favorite.

Thank you for viewing.

What you get for delaying dinner is a beautiful shot that the others missed. Hope you got inside before that wall of water came your way.

This is a great shot. My eye wishes the building wasn't so close to the edge of the frame as it seems to create a bit of visual tension, but its a small nit for an overall great image. Nice job!

I agree with the above, and it also seems ever so slightly tipped to the right. Or maybe it's just an optical illusion because of the building close to the edge. But other than that... great shot!
