On the parrot, good pose. I think it's a touch underexposed, judging from the white feathers on its cheek. Keep in mind that they eyes are all-important. If they're not in focus, which appears to be the case here, then it compromises the shot greatly. Also, your background is very busy. Could you have tried a different point of view in order to get a simpler background?

As for the other one, this looks like a grab shot. Perhaps the color of the sky was dramatic and drew your attention. But it's blown out here. Your camera meter tried to balance out the darks and lights and didn't do a good job on any of it. This is where you must use your judgment and modify the exposure. Whatever that tower thing is in the right corner, get rid of it. It's a great distraction.

Hey Joe,
I both shots I altered the expose, color and white balance to make the picture more attractive, I'm good photoshop user but amateur photographer, is it good attitude to make changes by software or preferred by camera settings?

I think it is always best to capture the photo with the camera as best possible. Then just do mild adjustments with software.
I like the parrot shot, focus is a little off. But I think you did a fine job for only having a camera for a few days.
Look forward to seeing more of your photo's as time goes on
