UVA, Charlottesville, VA

Next to last stop on the vacation was Charlottesville, VA. Unfortunately, I was not able to bring my camera inside Monticello, nor able to be on their property at good light. The next best thing I could come up with was a sunrise excursion to UVA. Again, each shot is made of a 7 shot bracket at +/- 1 EV. The 2 pano's are 6 of these stitched together. All shots processed in CS-5 and Photomatix.

I like the second image also, especially the brick walkway. The fourth image seems to have diverging lines rather than converging towards the top to my eyes. I imagine the vertical height only appears to be stretched?

Man I miss is place. I would pay money for these. Pm me if if you have more.

Gene, the diverging lines is the distortion of my 16-35 lens. Often times this works in my favor and I left it in on purpose, though it may not work for this type of image.

I'll look and see what others I have Damadsetta. I was only there a couple hours one morning, but I took a bunch more.

I've gone through my surplus shots and have quite a few more to process. TIme being the critical factor. Here's 3 more for now....

Nice shots. My UVa student days are a long way back in the rear view, but I was always amazed at the beauty of the campus. Certainly, it's one of the best in the US. Too bad that most of the photos I took back then were with a basic 35mm sure shot.

The 2. original picture realy stands out. It seems like you have som color/halo-issues with the outdoor pictures.
Have you tried to take in the processed picture into CS5 in top of the 3 original shots as layers? Use the function allign layers - then use layermask to mask in the best sky from one of the original picture.
