Let me know what you think, am I on the right track? It is only 34 seconds long and cuts off at the end, but this is more of a work in progress. I will add more, but just started messing with it tonight. 200 pictures in 2.5 hours or so.

thanks, it is funny I thought 200 photos would be longer. Now I know and I play with it more. What is the most popular wide angle lens and focal length that this group uses for wide angles of the sky to get a lot of stars and maybe some background in the photo? I was thinking of getting the tokina 11-16.

Nice video. I like how the clouds stayed at the bottom. You may try reducing the time for each frame...it will make it smoother but shorter. I usually use .1 or .2 per frame.

I haven't watched it in vimeo yet, had to wait an hour too. However, I did set it at .1 seconds

I forgot to tell you,I have the tokina 11-16 and I absolutely love it. It stays on my 7D. clear and sharp as a tack. You can't beat it for the money. I have bad light pollution here but I shot a startrails last night.

I had to close down the f 4 stops, ISO of 100 and 20 sec subs. I would highly recommend it.
