Other than the obvious dust spots on my sensor I noticed some soft streaks/lines at the top and bottom of my images. I searched a little and didn't see anything quite like this on the forum, curious if anyone else has seen this before.

I've adjusted the photo to show the lines more clearly, however they are visible SOC on the RAW file, especially in the bottom left. Any help would be appreciated, thanks!

Serious vignetting there! Chicago looks fine though - 15 years since I was at the top of the Sears.

The dust looks more like shutter lube to me and the streaks may be the the same. I had similar problems on my 350D and 30D and it could be that the sensor cleaning has caused lubricant dots on the sensor to run. Plenty of advice on the best swab/solution on here. I used Visible Dust products with complete success.

Shoot a blank piece of paper, you'll see the problem better than in the silhouettes of buildings.

What we see depends mainly on what we look for.

I seem to remember reading something about reflections off the mirror box that can cause similar problems. Worth doing a search on that I think. Hope this is helpful...

One more thought. Have you tried to clean the sensor/AA filter with a brush or Arctic Butterfly type tool at all? I did and that's how I discovered that the dust wasn't really dust... The effect was similar to yours.
