These twins were photographed at my parents property back home in New Brunswick.

My wife and I had been camping in our trailer on the front lawn when I spotted the fawns early in the morning. I grabbed my camera, while still in my pyjamas, and snuck around the house to take some photos.

It would have been nice to get a photo of mom with them but she had heard people voices on the nearby nature trail and had placed herself in teh brush between them and her young.

1. The twins together - It took about 10 minutes before they moved close enough together to capture this image.

2. Having a little lie down. This fawn had stood up immediately when it first saw me but I knelt down low and kept eye contact to a minimum until it relaxed and laid down again.

3. Portrait. I just wish that the ears were pointing forward.
