I must be stupid. Every opportunity I get, I grab my 1D III instead of my 5D II.

1D is a crop, half the megapixels and doesn't do as well in low light. Do I have some kind of mental problem? Do I need medication?

Please advise. I'm finding my 5D II to be collecting dust.

You just like the dependable friend. It's hard to change. I grab my 5D2, so I don't know what to tell ya! I love my 7D, but that has only specific uses for me.

To me, they produce images that look very similar. The 1D "wows" me with the insane contrast and better saturation, and the 5D II "wows" me with the insane ability to capture stupid-levels of detail. I think i'm more "wowed" by the former, and the comforts of using the superior body though.

It's not awful to have one that is more used. I have 2 or more, but only 1 can be with me most of the time. Don't feel like you need to sell the 5D2.
