Brooklyn-2 year old pictures!

I finally met an old friend's daughter now that she has just turned 2! She asked me to take some pictures after her birthday. She was the cutest little girl...so tiny and so fair! I definitely had to work on my PP so her skin didn't look completely transparent. (I am noticing looking at them in here that they are a little oversharpened from my save-for-web action, but I am too tired to go back and fix. Hopefully not too much of a problem!) Anyways, here are just a few from the set...

The over sharpening isn't terribly bad. I like the set overall (#4 is my fav). Though I might be biased, my style can be similar to yours

What nationality are the parents? She has a very unique face.

Love these! She reminds me a lot of my daughter.

I am pretty sure they are your all-american/english blondish-brown hair kind of family! She definitely has a uniqueness about her though since she is so fair. But, nothing exotic that I know of!

Nice shots. I would love to see some that includes her feet as they are really cute at that age. You do seem to have a lot of tight compositions here which cuts off limbs unnecessarily. I'd back up just a bit and then if you want to crop in post you have that choice...

Thank you for the suggestion! I do have some in the set that show her feet, I just didn't post them in the thread. But, I know I tend to have more tightly cropped shots and I need to break out of it more. I am still to work on getting that focus point on the eyes but end up cutting off the cute little feet. Focus recompose hasn't seemed to be working for me lately. I love getting those sharp eyes and never feel like I can get that from farther away with my 50. I think I just need more practice! But, I will definitely try to back up next time and get more variety.
