Went on a weekend trip with some buddies to Taipei. We went paintballing (kind of a ghetto place) so I took a few photos of us (mainly portrait type shots). Wanted to give the photos a high contrast B&W look to give it a grittier vibe. What do you guys think?

I don't normally like the fancy schmancy stuff, but these are friggin sweet to me!!!!

#2 is a little dark at the eyes...could use a little brightening there.

1 $ 4 are very very nice!!!

They're great shots, but a tad busy.

Thanks. Fully agreed they are a tad busy but I basically worked with what I had. These 6 shots we took in between games and there wasn't much flexibility in terms of location.

I know it's much harder to control the background (in these cases it's impossible). Still, despite that, these are awesome pictures.

Thanks. If I had more time and flexibility I'm sure a lot of these photos could be improved.
