Its amazing the amount of people on my FB feed mocking the hurricane for being weak and the city "over reacting" Maybe a category 5 should hit next time and only then will these ignorant fools become grateful for the cat 1 we had today.

Ya, its unfortunate that some people just don't seem to understand how luck they are in getting the weaker storm.

those are the peope that figure everything is going to be fine and dont take the important stuff then in the end they loose everything

I like that one!

It is what happens when people are not used to dealing with these things and take them for granted.

Hey Jake! I noticed that shot of the milky way you posted a number of pages back. Not bad at all, and you could probably still get a bit more out of it with the proper post processing. If you haven't already, post it in a new thread in the 'astronomy' section here on the forum. There are some guys in there that are just amazing when it comes to those type of shots and post processing. ;)

When driving on the I 15 to Californa I play games with guys who try to tail gate me, I down shift two then speed up and up shift accelerating fast to make a big gap, or simply just let him eat dust.

So, you like to leave 'em in Baker! Good place for 'em!

How is everything on your side Geoff?

Everythings doing well out west here. Its supposed to be 31C and sunny, no clouds. Frankly, I'd welcome a nice rain or thunderstorm right now....it's been a while since our last one.

The wife should be getting back from Manitoba later today. She was out there with her brother and his kids for a family reunion.

If I remember correctly, I think there are a few companies that provide storm chasing vacations. You pay the money and they take you on a storm chasing adventure.....hehe.
