no way I am gonna live with this...it looks and fits nice and for the most part I can just reverse the lens foot, I actually always reverse it to act as a handle bar anyway

^I see how it could be a problem. The standard foot plate for your 70-200 has the capability to slide to give you clearance. You can't slide it at all?

The way the replacement foot works theres no room for sliding.

can't you rotate the collar out of the way?
I didn't like resting the plate on my hand when shooting so I normally rotate it out the way anyway

Quick check in: BBQ all day yesterday. Damn good home made burgers with bacon and blue cheese mmmmm. Plenty if beers of all types and liquor.

Today on my way to the beach. Probably the last time this year. Must keep the holiday weekend party going!!!

Well we put in 34 miles this morning, we had to cut it a few miles short because I got a flat... even with gatorskins. I have had 3 flats from riding, all 3 have been on the same stretch of road... :/
