Bunch of things... Big one: finally got fed up waiting for the bank lady to call and I called her myself. Found out that they "successfully approved" me for $3000 less than they originally said. That's a huge difference when it comes to truck shopping.

Yup. That's a difference of 2-3 model years, or 50-75,000 kms, 4x4 is out, etc. It's really, really irritating.

hey Melody, this might be an opportunity to buy a truck you can fix up and re sell with the money
buy it, drive it and fix the little things while your selling it, then buy a better truck when you accumulate more money
probably not what you want to hear but it's a thought, that's how i did it with cars
