Tony, I was told I had to remove the tripod from the sidewalk in front of the white house. Otherwise, there were no issues anywhere.

One more thing, on the memorial shots with the statues of the soldiers, what did you meter off or what was your focus point?

Gene, I'm still laughing out loud over that one! Awesome rendition. Especially leaving the snow shoes.

Tony, I focused on the shrubs which were about 10 feet away and knew (hoped) that the rest of the shot would be in focus because of the UWA lens I was using. As far as exposure goes, it was pretty dark when I shot this. I ended up blending 2 or 3 shots together which ranged from 20 sec. to 1.5 min.
