Only was at the track on Saturday, had never been to Pebble Beach so I went on Sunday. I am glad that i went to it, but when I go back, i will spend both days at the track like I used to.

I need to go through my images from Pebble Beach, and from Bonneville. Its a lot of work, but it was a LOT of fun.

Great shots. I'm still going through the shots I took. I was at the track Fri, Sat, and Sun and took WAY too many pics.

Thanks, I can't wait to see pics form Sunday especially if the NPTI Nissan GTP car #83 ran. I will be going to the track 2 days at least, next year.

Couple more images.

Thanks! I was stubborn and used the 400mm 5.6 with no monopod, but I think it worked out ok keeping the shutter speed up high enough.

The Nissan did not run, at least that I saw. The GTP class seemed really small this year.

Bummer! At least it was out. And yeah wandering the pits I didn't see many GTP cars.

I totally forgot to throw a link to all the pics I had up. The link shows pics from my whole roadtrip, which was San Diego to Salt Lake City to Bonneville Salt Flats to San Francisco to Monterey for Pebble Beach and the Historic Reunion. No where near all the pics are up, but there are a bunch more of the photos from Laguna Seca.

Great to see the Kremer 935 in the second post. I remember seeing that run at Le Mans in about 1980 when it was current. Great cars. Also love the 250 GTO in the first set. Nice.

There were a LOT of GTO's there. I'll post pics of GTO's from the weekend maybe in one post all together. There were quite a few racing Saturday, and like 25 at Pebble Beach Sunday.

thanks, i didn't really do a good job of showing the track well. I get locked in on getting images of the cars, and forget the track is important too!

Dead right .Compositions seem to go out the window on m/sport too often.
Shots are very good in what they portray .
