Signs of Life, a Tribute to Pink Floyd at the Madison Theater 08-20-11

Had the good fortune to take in a night of Signs of Life, a Pink Floyd tribute band, as they played the album Animals in its entirety as well as a bunch of other Pink Floyd favorites. Some obscure stuff, too...

In doing so, I got to stretch the legs for the first time on the 5DII with the Sigma 50mm f/1.4 on it. Got a couple using the Tamron 70-200mm f/2.8 as well... Diggin it so far, but I think I should get away from the wide-open aperture and try to deepen the dof some. Lots of just-missed shots due to focus. Granted their light wasn't the best.

First is OoF, and in #2 some heads are behind mic (stands). Nice lighting though.

#3: Pretty closely framed. Not sure I mind.
#4, 5: Nice.
