Depends on what you want it for ;) - A bit more info needed here...

I'd have the 7D for it's focus abilities and fps, but that's just my requirements.
If I shot mainly landscapes or studio subjects I'd go for the 5DII.

I don't think "for what" is relevant here. The lens choices both offer the same equivalent focal lens, and close focal lenghts at that, so unless you're shooting close fast action sports at clsoe distance (in which case the 7D might be the better option), I can't see a single reason why the 7D option would be better. The image quality you would get from the 5D combo would be significantly better than the 7D combo (except perhaps at f1.4 from the 50mm and 35L). Unless you'd be shooting a lot at f1.4, or if you have significant autofocus requirements, the 5D combo is in my mind a no brainer. PS this is based on JUST the lenses detailed above. Clearly you'd need to think about the other lenses and activities you'd use these for otherwise...

Bold above: Are you saying that the 5DII is not sharper than the 7D at f1.4?

With the 50/1.4... it's quite possible (and likely) that the image won't be as sharp since the 50/1.4 is not known to be a sharp performer when shooting wide open. There are some good copies floating around but most don't look all that great until 1.8-2.0.
