Does anyone have any experience with Cheetah Softboxes?
Looking at the Cheetah Strip 14"x55".
I have all Elinchrom gear, but I can not justified spending $460+ for one Lighttools Grid and Stretch Frame for one Elinchrom Strip Softbox.
Is there any other brands you guys recommend?

Thanks in advance
Eric

Over in the Elinchrom thread we've been looking into a group buy of strips with grids but nothing has come of it yet.

Cheetah and Creative Light seem to be the two brands I see mentioned. Other than Chimera of course.

yeah, shame they couldn't make us a better deal.

BTW, my earlier post was meant to be two separate paragraphs. 1. There might be a group buy. 2. The brands to choose from, group buy or not, are CL, Cheetah and Chimera.

I own and use the Cheetah 14" x 55" strip boxes and I like them a lot. Well made, beautiful light, affordable grids.

I have one of their 47" octo's, seems solid enough and well diffused. Def worth the money IMO.
