Interesting here in Toronto.

First the effects of the Washington DC earthquake on Tuesday.
Then on Wednesday evening, the most Intense lightning storm I have ever witnessed.

Only shot that came out reasonably out of a 100 or so. Possibly made a bit more interesting by the cloud formation to the right which looks like either a rabbit or a goldfish.

Considering that there were 1000+ flashes over about an hour just one was a pretty poor effort.

Pretty intense looking shot. Looks like you were fairly close to it as well, atleast in the photo it does. How long was the exposure for a shot like this and how wide did you have the aperture set? Just curious, nice shot though.

It was quite powerful hence its brightness and probably pretty close as well. I could not see the ground from my position so cannot say for sure.
