Just a fair warning to all...this is the look you'll get when you tell the line judge to stop getting in your way while shooting football!

:cool::lol:;)

On Edit I'll say, "Do not, I repeat, do not try this at home. You must have a great relationship with the official before any side line commentary can be made, and only with said officials acknowledge they have a sense of humor. LOL

There was this one softball ump back in the spring who just could NOT stop smiling. Every time I looked over at (or photographed) him, he just looked so happy. You could tell he loved his job! (college softball)

Just tell them they'll never progress beyond HS if they keep blocking photographers.

We used to tell NCAA basketball refs that they'd never make it to the NBA if they kept blocking the TV cameras...

In 18 years of officiating football, I've only gotten on a few photographers/videographers. I did have one a couple of years ago that would not listen at all and would step a yard on the field to get the shot. After warning him several times, I had to tell the site manager that he had to leave the field or forfeit the game. He almost got taken out a couple of times.

I enjoy having a good time on the sidelines (I was a Linejudge for 13 years) with the coaching staff and other people. The worst incident I ever had was a Catholic priest who was the principal of the school. I had to eject him and the cops had to escort him off the field when he refused to leave. From then on, he had to sit in the press box or not be in the stadium at all. That was the league's doing.
