I remember seeing something posted on POTN showing how an Apple AC adapter works with a Canon battery charger instead of the clunky cord.

I was wondering, would this (external link) adapter work for my T2i's LC-E8E charger?

Sorry if this was posted before.

Yeah, just tried it with my (nikon, but it's a standard connector anyway) charger, works great!

I have this and it works great with my Canon charger. I love saving the space by not needing to pack the longer cord.

Yes, if IIRC thats the adapter they used. I dont have a body that uses the T2i battery so I cant confirm, but Im pretty sure that was the one.

Anything using the figure of 8 connector is completely interchangeable, it's simply a straight cable from that to the wall plug with no circuitry, diodes, resistors, or anything like that which could cause compatibility issues. Same goes for the 3 pin kettle leads (which are actually rarely used on kettles these days).
