It's a Firmware Extension for most of the Canon Point and shoots. It's supposed to make these cameras function like DSLR's from what I have heard. I can only get it to work on my SD1200 IS occasionally and it's usually hit or miss. If I can confirm that it will work better on the S95 I'd get one.

Thanks! It was a good little camera for the short time that I had it. Just shipped it off on a trade deal for a dslr to Paxonator. I'll probably end up with another one down the road.
