Did you do some blurring to the background (or sharpening to the couple) in the first one? It doesn't look right.

I like #5. The angle really works for that photo.

Great idea on the focus, I didn't even think about that. But now looking at the picture, it would make so much sense :oops:

wrinkly shirt and sandles. Big no-no's I thought also but he wanted to wear what he usually wears and nothing out of the ordinary!

Looked back at my LR catalog and didn't seem to have adjusted anything, but clarity up slightly. Might have been it.

I agree...the first pic looks like some added blur, around the guys rigt shoulder.

Really nice set. The comps and expressions are good. I agree about the focus of #2 and think #4 could be warmed up a little, but I do like the relaxed feel these have.

I also thought there was something weird going on in #1 around the guy. Looking closer, it may just be some shadow/light play going on there. Maybe darkening the bright triangular area will fix the issue?
