Great shot of the guy on the beach.

Stay safe.

I always wondered, who is going to rescue the news crew?

And if they have to, how much should they bill the network for doing it?

Great shots. I'm down at the oceanfront right now trying to get as many shots as possible. The waves are great right now.

Rain heavy near Allentown, PA. At my house, the septic system alarm keeps going off as water flows in. The pump catches up, but it takes a few seconds. Small leak in basement now a big leak. I was driving about an hour ago, and it was no different from just heavy rain, no road flooding, yet.

The worst is expected tomorrow when the wind picks up. Here, it looks like 6 to 8 inches of rain, total.

On NYC TV they are talking about how nobody left and showing people just hanging around in a diner.

I cannot post photos because there is nothing to report from my area. Power is out and has been since 3AM. Unexciting downed trees here and there. Much more of a media storm than actual storm.

It's like 43 now and people have their power back. Loss of power isn't exactly a statistic I'd use along with deaths. Damages sure. But yeah, it did more in the north than the south which is interesting.

it's just stupid for someone to say it wasn't an actual storm.

overhyped? maybe. if they didn't, however, there would have been thousands of deaths.
