Has anyone in the world actually been successful in setting up a WFT-E4 II in Windows 7?
If so PLEASE share how you did it.
I have been running up against brick walls for two weeks now trying to set up a FTP sever on my desktop, laptop, and Xoom tablet that the WFT will talk to.
I'm not a network geek so I may be missing something, but this shouldn't be this difficult!
I found connecting with the EOS Utility was simple but for FTP it doesn't seem to matter what I do I get either error 41 or 45.
I suspect the issue is with permissions to the C:/inetpub/ftproot folder but I'm not bright enough to figure out what, or how to fix it.
Any help would not only be deeply appreciated by me, but also my wife, my children, their children and at least 3 Canon techs who are as dumbfounded as me!
Cheers
Bill
that's an OS for you - sometimes the little things just don't work...
