I have a G12...if I shoot RAW and simply use one of the Canon tools to convert to JPEG and apply no other PP...will it be sharper or better than in camera JPEG?

JamesP Goldmember More info | Aug 28, 2011 19:07 | #2 Try shooting in RAW and using DPP to adjust your images and I don't think you'll ever go back to shooting just JPEG. The greater flexability is worth the effort. 1Dx - 5DIII - 40D - Canon 24-70LII, 100L macro, 135L, 16-35L, 70-200 f4 and 100-400L lenses

SuzyView Cream of the Crop More info | Aug 28, 2011 19:19 | #3 I just got a G12 and the RAW images are amazing. I think you should use it for a while and get used to it. I don't thing sharper is enough. Overall, the color, the depth, etc. in RAW is always better. Learn how to use it, you won't regret it. Suzie - Still Speaking Canonese!
