Hi All,

I have Canon 2191B001 77mm Circular Polarizing Filter from B&H (external link) years ago, but I'm not sure if it has Multi-Resistant Coating (MRC) or not.

If Canon's CPL is not MRC, I'll like get a new MRC filter from B+W or Singh-Ray. Any recommendation, please?

Regards,

x_tan

For that price it should be an MRC type.

If it doesnt state it, it probably isnt. Youre paying for their name, yet they are known for making terrible filters. Get the B+W MRC F-Pro CPL anyway.

Thanks :)

Spent almost $200 without MRC from Canon, I was more than stupid then :-(

Anyone using Warm Circular Polarizer?

I read a book with some sample shoot, the photo took with Warm Circular Polarizer, the sand looks bit yellow / off-white than blue-white (No warming). But the building with Warm Circular Polarizer shoots were very rich, which I love them.

Can't make up the decision...
