Had a tough shoot over the weekend. Robin found out her dog of 12 years, Watson, has bone cancer in his front left leg, and is in some constant pain without the help of pain killers. She wanted some photos to remember him by. Here's a few. Hope you enjoy them.

Sorry to hear about Watson. It's always tough to loose a family member. The pictures are very nice though. A good tribute.

Not sure why, but call me JJ.

#5 Looks like Watson found out how tasty bic pens are as a pup like my dog did. It leaves a permanent mark. she still had it at 15.

great shots though.

Feel free to use any photo's that I post for any purpose that I don't find offensive. I'd be honored to find my pics used on that world wide web thingy....

It brought a tear to my eye, anyone who has a loved pet (family member) that they have lost should also know/have this feeling.

They are lovely. I hope your friend is happy with them, I think she will be.
I have an elderly friend whos old German Shepherd was just diagnosed with bone cancer in her leg too. Probably the same kind you this old boy. You've given me an idea, I might offer to take some photos of her for him.

I've come back to this thread at least 20 times today, showing my friends and family. As a dog lover and photography lover, please be proud of these photos. So sad but so beautiful.

Great series.#6 is superb and really captures their love.

If dogs don't go to heaven, I want to go where they go.

Bless the recently fallen and their family and friends.
I have a Cannon with me at all times. You can't take the shot if you don't have something with which to shoot.

Thanks for the replies. It was very important to me to nail these shots for her. I think tomorrow is the big day, so I plan to give her the photos afterwards.
