Went to the local camera shop to try out the new 5D, but decided not to get it and instead stay with my 20D. I could see a lot of advantages (especially the full frame and the huge viewfinder), but thought I'd wait and see what comes out in another year. I also liked the size of my 20D a little better (of course, I'm more used to it). On the way home, though, I found a good deal on a new (slightly used) "bag" for the same price as the 5D. Should be able to fit a few accessories in here. ;)

Love red.

Bless the recently fallen and their family and friends.
I have a Cannon with me at all times. You can't take the shot if you don't have something with which to shoot.

Many questions!

How many cameras and lens can you fit in the bag? Does it have room for a laptop?
Can you tie down your tripod? Will the 500 f/4.0 fit in the backseat?

Looks like you made the right choice.
