Mike,
Fantastic composition. The photo looks like a little under exposed, if you can just fix that..IMO this is a killer shot

Come with me...i'll take you places.

Thx, Sunman. This was the darkness level at the scene, and I usually try to keep as much as the "real view" as possible.

Nice photo Mike. Is that smoke in the mountains from all the fires? I am in Billings and we have had some smokey days this last week!

Hey Sprock -

That was taken on August 7th in very clear conditions (some of the clearest I've ever seen in Montana). Those are clouds that looked like mist at the time. It was near Big Timber.

And I hear you about the smokey skies. I had to bolt from the Bitterroot Valley about ten days ago due to the air quality. Nasty! So I'm sure all that smoke was headed your way sooner or later. I saw quite a few lightning-caused fires on my way out.

Yeah it's such an awesome place. I spent all my time there this summer, enjoying Glacier, the Gallatin National Forest, the Bitterroot National Forest, the Flathead National Forest and the great town of Missoula. Good choice. ;)
