camcorder vs mirrorless camera for video

Has any of you used mirrorless camera for video?
I am wanting to know how the video is compare to camcorder such as sound and AF.
I have Vixia HFS10 but video quality is not nearly as good as my 7D/5DII.
Thanks in advance.

Lens can also be another reason for better IQ.
