I have the Small Snoop, and I carry a 60D w/17-40L attached, hood flipped, a 70-200 4L, hood flipped, a nifty 50, a 430EX and a handful of other odds and ends. It's snug, but it fits perfectly.

Would the Small Snoop be able to fit a 5DMII w/70-200 F2.8ISII hood flipped?

Just received my small snoop and it fits my camera and three lenses with plenty of space to spare. My 12" laptop fits snugly in the sleeve area, but it's a Lenovo X220 so it's probably thicker than many ultrabooks people would look to pack there. Plenty of little pockets in this bag, though they are all stacked on top of each other, so filling it too much will make it difficult to access.

Like someone else mentioned about this bag in their review said, there is no handle at the top of the bag, so picking it up and moving it around is a bit of a pain. Otherwise, I'm happy with this bag.

Absolutely. Can't see why not. :)

Just got my small snoop today. Quite disappointed to be honest and I'm a big fan Timbuk2 products. The small, is well, small and I'll struggle to comfortably fit my gripped 5dMkII and 2 walkabout lenses in there. As others have mentioned, the lack of grip handle is a glaring omission. I just feel that my gear is not as easily accessible as with my TT Retrospective 30. I'll probably keep it and use it as a walkabout messenger, just not for my photo gear.

This surprises me a little. I mean, I realize the 5DMkII is a fair bit larger than my 60D, especially once you add a grip. But I can fit my 60D with 24-105 attached, plus my 10-22, 8mm, 60mm Macro, and 100-400mm all into the Small Snoop. Of course, at that point it's too heavy for me to walk around with. :)

I'm pretty sure I did some photos of the interior of my Small Snoop, I'll have to dig through my Flickr stream and add them here so it's easier to tell what does and doesn't fit.

I can understand the not too accessible part. The Snoop seals everything in pretty well, especially with all the velcro on the front used to grip the cover flap. I guess I could leaving the inner liner unzipped and save that step of opening the bag when retrieving the camera from it.

The size S Snoop when all closed up is pretty svelte with my 60d and three lenses inside, which I like. Also comfortable to carry around the one time I've taken it outside for a brief walk around during my lunch hour. But that lack of carrying handle is a bit annoying the more I have to move the bag around, take it out of the car or pull from under my desk. I'm so used to my Swiss computer bag that is approximately the same size having one.

I do have to say, as an every day bag for a college student--this bag can't be beat! For photos it's not the best to shoot out of but if you aren't changing lenses constantly it's a darn great bag! but the absolute BEST part of this bag is that it's water proof (Extremely Water Proof--Trust me!)

One thing that makes it easier for me to use is folding the lid of the insert back down behind the insert. One less thing to get in the way.

Here's the interior of my Small Snoop, filled with everything but the 60D and 24-105. I've since also added a 60mm macro which sits on top of the small lens on the right-hand end:

So does your 60D not sit between the pads? And the 100-400 is wider than the 70-200 F2.8IS, but it seems like your Small is bigger than my Small! https://photography-on-the.net …/showthread.php?t=1136677

It does fit, it sits lens-down in the open spot, with the hand grip over the short lens in the middle section. It's just not there because I was using it to take the picture. :)

It doesn't look too much different when compared with my small filled up. Took the Snoop out for half a day at the SF Ferry building farmer's market and it was very comfortable and easy to carry. Very good padding on the strap, and the cam buckle allowing you to shorten the strap easily to keep the bag closer to your body is a very nice design. Access wasn't too bad when I could sit down for a bit.

Still mostly happy with the bag, but the main complaint still being the lack of a handle. Not sure why Timbuk2 would leave that off of this model when most of their messenger bags have one.

Just got my Medium Snoop today - full review and photos on my blog:

http://enthusiastphotographer.com/2012/01/17/snoop-camera-bag/ (external link)

Net: I like it a lot! The quality and durability appear to be excellent. There could be a little more storage, but I'm not really lacking for any. I agree with the comment above about the handle - my Timbuk2 Laptop Messenger has one and it is something I'll miss a bit. Overall, very worth it at the regular price, a freakin' steal for what they are selling for at the moment...
