The first two are unstained and they are hand slices made with a double edge razor blade of one of the stems on a tiny leaf. It seemed to have some coiled parts that were quite interesting, and not found in the stalk part. The second two are of the celery stalk itself, hand sliced and stained. You can see the thickness of the slice in these.

How flippen cool. I will have to search your postings to see if you show your set up. I have been considering buying a borescope to photograph spiders in their holes (and other critters but mainly female tarantulas).

Thanks TwistedGray and Racquel.

There is a link to my microscope and it's parts in my footer. You'll probably have to search the forum for the full camera and adapter to scope setup though. Also, when you have time, check my YouTube link too. I use a Canon T1i for stills and video, and some of them are pretty interesting. :)

I believe I have seen boroscopes with a USB camera plugin for a computer or laptop. You will want to check E-bay for that kind of thing, before buying new though. E-bay has some really good deals in among the weeds. ;)

Holey Cow, I just checked and they are cheap (external link), with a metal case. :)

Thanks Bas. I've got some dead grass culture going in a jar with water. Give it a few days and there ought to be some really interesting bugs to look at. ;)

Thanks for looking Hot Shek. I was denied that pleasure. Got into Biology, but then there were too many people and I got bumped. I have owned a few microscopes over the years, but nothing really nice until recently. Amazing whats available now at a decent price.

Thanks for looking Tony. I can't chase the birds and flies anymore and roll on the ground, so I went over to the indoor desk type stuff. :)
